This large 2-room suite highlights art and artifacts from some of our world travels. The king-sized canopy bed is draped in gauzy shears reminiscent of safari mosquito netting, and a large late 1800s mahogany armoire that was original with the house. It’s been beautifully refinished and put back into service for another 100 years. The sitting room contains a sofa and two comfortable lounge chairs. Guest access This is a SECOND FLOOR room and requires a stroll up the continuous spiral staircase to the 2nd Floor. During your stay COVID UPDATE! We're sorry, but right now there is as limited guest interaction as possible between guests, hosts, and other guests. All staff are required to wear masks and stay as much at a distance as possible from guests. Common area beverage service is now an on-demand service. Coffee/Tea and Breakfast Service is now available for private complimentary in-room dining or at a safe distance on the porches or in the main dining room (unless requested otherwise by a group). We are currently using a "contactless check-in," and have hand-sanitization stations set up in all public areas inclusive of free masks and wipes. Sanitizers and masks are complimentary in each room. Other things to note PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, please alert us to any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or any general preferences you have. We do our best to accommodate all needs and desires.
