Peaceful waterfront cabin with awesome views and beach access. Close to the flavorful town of Edison and Samish Flats-famous for birdwatching. The neighboring towns of Anacortes, LaConner & Mount Vernon feature Skagit Valleys Finest Farms and Events. (Visit tulip festival. org and "Genuine Skagit Valley" for details.) Nearby Deception Pass and Larabee State Parks provide an abundance of walking and hiking trails. (Check out "Hike Skagit" and Washington Trails for more information.) The space Enjoy the lovely setting of the San Juan Islands without having to take a ferry. Perched atop a high bank overlooking Puget Sound, the casual and comfortable Beach House offers you the freedom to pass time as you wish. Originally a Sears kit cabin from the 1940’s, the Beach house has been completely remodeled into a light and open retreat to make your stay relaxing and memorable. Curl up with a book or enjoy a libation on the sunny deck while watching Great Blue Herons search for their next meal. Drift off into an afternoon nap on the comfy couch or inviting plush bed. Just a walk down the private stairs leads you to Beach Walking, Boating, Kayaking or Clamming. The quiet road in front of the cabin is a one mile loop that is popular for walking, cycling, or jogging. However you choose to spend your time on Samish Island, the Beach House is a pleasant haven to stay. Guest access The cabin, porch, driveway, front deck is exclusively yours. The stairs down to the beach are shared with owners. Owner home is adjacent/behind cabin, separated by mature trees and gardens. Other things to note This is a residential neighborhood. It is very peaceful and quiet, but I cannot guarantee that you won't occasionally hear a lawnmower, dogs barking or kids playing down the street.
