Konik Polny Farm - a climatic country house

Drowned among golden fields and greenery, a century-old house is tempted by a location away from the hustle and bustle of the city and a truly rural climate, while being safe proximity to human settlements. Two bedrooms that can accommodate a total of 8 people (max 11 on additional sofas), an old barn that houses a barbecue and a pizza oven, a private fenced area of 1.9 ha and silence as if sown with poppy make it an ideal place for families, friends or couples looking for privacy. The space House Built in 1921, the country house houses two bedrooms for guest use and a living room with fireplace and kitchenette. The real treasure and heart of the house is the original, perfectly preserved and working bread oven with a hundred-year-old bread shovel. Our house is decorated with souvenirs brought by us from various corners of the world – the Balkans, the Netherlands, Latvia or Iran, as well as handicrafts by Polish folk artists and more. Look for the icon painted on the board with paints with the addition of red wine, thanks to which its colors have gained an amazing velvety effect. Hand-decorated plates, highlander glass painting, a majestic log cabin so characteristic of old rural chambers or Persian gompole are some of the details that create the unique charm of this place. The century-old building of a former stone barn has retained its original style, enriched with utility elements such as: a grill in the shape of a stately bleached, lighted furnace, a working counter made of old sleepers, and a wooden table and benches. The walls are decorated with forged utility elements from the old farm – hooks, staples, door fittings, as well as… an old, original threshold from our house with a carved recess that was created as a result of a hundred years of passing through it by the old householders. Lighting over the table and 230V outlets allow you to comfortably prepare and eat meals. Under one of the walls is delicious for the warmth of a stone building a stack of firewood, the other trunks an omnipotent winery, and thanks to the opening of the barn to the backyard, we consume our meals with a view of the house and the greenery surrounding it. It's a perfect place for breakfast and dinner on a hot day and an evening feast at a shared table. For amateurs of the night, we have a large fire pit with benches, surrounded by boulders, with a power connection and a water junction. A garden hot tub for six people will be a pleasant addition to your stay. Hot tub available for an additional fee. Guest access The entire home is available to guests, excluding one permanently locked bedroom upstairs. In the house, there are two bedrooms (3+5) and a living room with a kitchenette equipped with a four-burner gas kitchen, a kettle, a fridge, a coffee maker and a toaster. For a stay of 2 people, the lower 3-bed bedroom is available, and the 5-bed bedroom is closed and not available for guests. Bathroom with shower. Summer dining in the barn, jacuzzi, place for a bonfire. Parking on site. Other things to note Towels are changed every 7 days. The price of the stay includes the cost of wood for the fireplace (in the cold season) or for the pizza oven (in the summer season). In addition, we always leave two bags of wood for guests, which are additionally payable. Garden Jacuzzi for an additional fee upon prior arrangement. A year-round home. It's best to open only windows with mosquito nets. We always keep the garden chairs, wooden chairs and sun loungers home for the night when it rains and when we leave the property. During storms, there are power cuts that can last quite a long time-we advise patience.
