On-site hiking trails, playgrounds, massage and reflexology. Campfire rings. Close to Heartland Bicycle Trail (south 1.5 miles) and ATV trails (north 3 miles.) The space Baseboard heaters in each room, so you can control room temp individually for sleeping. A/C in dining area. Both queen beds brand new. Newer futon sofabed in living room. Recliner and rocking chair. NO STEPS in this cabin, making it a bit easier for those finding steps challenging. (This cabin is not wheelchair friendly, but we have several cabins which are.) 2 -3 parking spaces. Beach campfire ring 100' feet. May and September typically very peaceful and quiet - good location with forest feel, on a lake (but only 2 miles from town conveniences.) Guest access Kitchen has newer refrigerator, newer electric start gas stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, electric mixer, crock pot, 6 pots, 4 skillets, 3 pans, 3 casserole dishes, 6 mixing bowls, cutting boards, colanders, muffin tins, cake tins, baking sheets, measuring cups & spoons, utensils (corkscrew, 3 tongs, 4 spatulas, whisk, scissors, masher, scoop, etc.) wine glasses, coffee mugs and enough plates, bowls, glasses, flatware for six people. Salt/Pepper, cutting boards, non-toxic dish soap and scrubbie (bring kitchen towels!) Charcoal BBQ grill off deck. Other things to note We are big believers in natural cleaners and an organic environment beyond the natural spring-fed lake and fresh northwoods air. We use only natural cleaning products to clean cabins: anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal aromatherapy essential oils like peppermint or Thieves multi-purpose, distilled vinegar, baking soda, grapefruit seed extract, borax, Shaklee and Melalueca products and other non-toxic ingredients.
