The Stables at Demerara

The Stables at ‘Demerara’ is a quaint one bedroom apartment nestled in the heart of the countryside in St. Philip Barbados. With beautiful country views, as the name suggests it is built in a remodeled stable and can sleep 2 adults & 2 children. It has one bedroom with a king size bed and a day bed in the living area that consists of two twin beds. With two outdoor living spaces and ample lush grass surrounding it is perfect for a family with younger children or a couple looking for solace. The space This space is on a compound consisting of a main house and two cottages. It is far enough from both other structures to be very private. There is a lot of outdoor space and grassy lawn attached to the apartment. The interior space is well appointed and comfortable. It is a smaller space that has been well thought out and designed to embody true Caribbean living where the outside area becomes an integral part of the interior living space. Renting a car is a great asset if you intend to book our place. The space is built for 2 persons, however, 2 adults and 2 children can be accommodated. There are two twin beds in the living space. Guest access The apartment is located on a compound with the main house and another cottage. There is a separate entrance for The Stables and the guest access is private. We are not always available to greet our guests, as we both work, as such, guests are able to let themselves in via lockbox. My Mother-in-law is usually around to say hello. Other things to note This apartment is eight minutes from six roads which is a bustling hub of activity that boasts many amenities such as hardware stores, a supermarket, coffee shops, fast food restaurants such as Little Caesar’s and Burger King and Chefette. Also a short fifteen minute drive away are the airport as well as the Crane Beach and resort. One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This is the perfect place if you want to explore the east of the island and spend some time in the country. Renting a car would be a great asset staying here.
