Large farmhouse of 145 m², typical of Norman buildings of the 2nd half of the 19th century. Located in a rural and agricultural hamlet, on a large wooded and delimited plot, it will satisfy lovers of calm and nature. Our house is not perfect and is marked by time. Wooden beams, terracotta tiles, fireplace... its strong character offers a setting and essential comfort to accommodate guests in search of a change of scenery and rest for a few days. The space Our farmhouse is composed of 3 main parts: Part 1 (west wing): - on the ground floor: bathroom, toilet, and kitchen. - upstairs: 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (and possibly space to install 1 extra bed). 2nd part (in the center of the house): - dining room (cathedral type: high up to the roof). Part 3 (east wing): - on the ground floor: a first living room "fireplace area", and a second living room "board games and library area". - upstairs: 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (and possibly space to install 1 extra bed) The house is built on a large wooded plot of about 3500 m². Guest access Access to the property is via a large gate. The lot is large enough that you have no difficulty parking several cars. Other things to note Kitchen is equipped as standard. Gas stove (bottled), electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, raclette and fondue set... and plancha. Dishes/cutlery/pans/bowls... in sufficient quantity for 8 people. The mattresses are all protected. We will provide duvets – PLEASE THINK ABOUT PROTECTING THEM – It will be up to you to bring bed sheets or fitted sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases. No towels either, think about it... You can ask us to provide you with bed linen and towels for an extra charge. The house is equipped with a hot water tank which is usually sufficient for 6–8 people during the day. You'll have to be careful not to linger too long in the shower if there are more than 6 of you. A fireplace insert, books, and board games are available to accompany you in your evenings. No TV, but an internet connection, a radio/CD player, and a projector to connect to a laptop (which you will bring with you). The configuration of our house ideally meets the needs of a large family (up to 8 beds) or 2 families who have chosen to go on vacation together. You will be surrounded by very nice neighbors, Armelle and Jean-Fabrice, who you can count on during the stay. Small shops in La Neuve-Lyre (8 km away): "Coccinelle" supermarket and bakery. Reasonably priced shops in Rugles (10 km away) (Intermarché) and L'Aigle (20 km away) (Leclerc). And 5 minutes by car, the "Ferme Carré" which offers quality products that you can order and pick up on site (eggs, chicken, milk, cheese, yogurt, apple juice...).
