The Nook: A peaceful wooden garden cabin in Oxford
The Nook: A peaceful wooden garden cabin in Oxford
Description
Wooden cabin in garden on quiet street in East Oxford, a beautiful part of the city near to the river and Iffley Road, which is a direct route in to the centre of the city. The space The cabin comes complete with underfloor heating, living / dining space, bathroom, kitchenette (microwave, sink & fridge, no oven), bathroom with shower (the cabin had its own bathroom installed in 2022 so please ignore earlier reviews that mention an external bathroom), and bedroom with very comfortable double bed. The sofa bed in the living space can also be made up as an extra bed if needed. The shower isn’t a power shower due to being in the garden, but it certainly does the job. There is a desk in its own little nook should you be coming to Oxford with work or for study, complete with wifi access. There is a kitchenette with fridge, sink, microwave, kettle and toaster, perfect for making breakfast, snacks or takeaway food. You can eat your breakfast on the cabin porch, should the weather be nice, otherwise you can use the table in the living space or you are welcome to use our dining table in the family garden for alfresco dinners. Guest access You will have your own access via the lockable garden gate for you to come and go as you wish, but we are also on hand in the main house should you need anything. Other things to note The cabin is approximately 4 metres away from the main house with our patio in between. We aim to give guests as much privacy as possible and you will have your own patio and blinds. If that feels too close for you then this cabin lay not be the right place for you.
