Accommodating up to 3 people, No 6 a 3 storey Victorian Townhouse is 10 mins walk from Shrewsbury’s historic town centre. A perfect base for exploring the local sights. Parking is available on Coton Crescent a couple of minutes walk away. Train & Bus Stations are also very close by. No 6 is styled with both modern & refinished furniture in keeping with its age & is equipped with all the creature comforts required for a short or longer stay. No 6, uses a Ring Doorbell for safety & security The space No 6 has a lovely little south west facing open courtyard outside the front of the house with a metal bench. The Oxford Blue front door opens into a lovely compact lounge/dining area with access to the stairs & kitchen. A 32” HD TV, Alexa & Wi-Fi is available for catching up after a day in town. The vintage dining table in the alcove can be pulled out & will comfortably seats 4 for a takeaway or a home cooked meal. The kitchen is well equipped with dish washer, Tassimo coffee machine, washer dryer etc. Complementary Tea & Coffee are available. On the first floor, the bathroom, with an over bath shower has toiletries provided for your use. The shower screen is fixed. In the cupboard there is a little box full of bits ‘n’ bobs just in case you’ve forgotten anything. The mirrored light has a shaving point. There’s a hairdryer too. The Teal Room has a double bed in a lovely snug alcove. Corner shelves & wall lights are fitted for books & drinks. Plugs have USB chargers. There is ample hanging and drawer space. The top floor open landing is a fabulous space for working….If you need to. There’s a bureau full of information, games & adult colouring. Even a Shrewsbury Monopoly. The shelving is a unique up-cycled piece. If need to work whilst on the move, then the Upper Landing is the place to do it in. The Blue Room is more spacious and dressed with refinished furniture & a vintage chandelier, but modern touches such as sockets with USB points are fitted either side of the bed. Luggage stands allow you to unpack comfortably. The rooftops views of Shrewsbury from The Blue Bedroom are lovely & the Marble Frieze is an interesting talking point. Robes & Slippers are supplied for visits of 3 night plus. Guest access The whole of No 6 is available for your enjoyment. Other things to note No 6 is a beautiful house over 135 yrs old.. In keeping with it’s age it has single pane sash windows to the front of the house & lacks the noise insulation of more modern buildings. It isn’t recommended for children under 12 years of age. Some of the paving on the path leading up to the house and outside the back door are a little wobbly. Caution is advised.
