One small bedroom in an old house conveniently located at an 8-min drive from Bournemouth Beach, according to GMaps. There is also a bus stop 2 mins from the house, with frequent buses to the town centre, in Charminster which has many shops and restaurants. We provide: - A simple small bedroom (260x210cm) with a single bed, bedside table, small table, chair, washbasin and wardrobe - A guest shower room with toilet - A guest kitchen Please note there is no living-room or TV. The space Our house is located in a residential area of Bournemouth. My partner and I live downstairs. Upstairs is a four-bedroom flat, dedicated to guests. This is not a hotel but only our modest home. We welcome our guests with cordiality and the house is clean, but in need of a little refurbishment. Please don't book if you are looking for a stay with hotel standards as we won't be able to meet your needs. Guest access You will have access to a private single bedroom, plus a shower room and kitchen, which may be shared with other guests. During your stay Our guests can be completely independent and keep their privacy if they want to. Alternatively, we are also happy for them to come down for a chat and a cup of tea with us. We are happy to help if they need any information about Bournemouth. Other things to note There is free parking on the street. Also we have a small driveway in front of the house which may be available on prior request only, at the car owner's sole risk for insurance purposes. If available, my husband Andy would help you park so that your car does not protrude over the pavement or block access to our gate. It would be on a first-come-first-serve basis, with no priority over other guests. There is no washing machine to use. Queen's Park launderette, 282 Charminster Rd, is 9 minutes away on foot. During the summer we don't use the central heating. In spring the central heating is on just a little in the morning and evening, but not during the daytime. We provide extra blankets and water bottles in the room if needed. I come upstairs to clean the kitchen and bathroom regularly, but we also ask guests to clean after themselves when using the shared facilities to leave them clean for other guests.
