Super cute apartment in a 105 year old house in Sister Bay. The apartment is on the second story of the building, and it has separate entrance and private areas (upper deck and front porch) It is very close to the water, but most of the shore properties are private. It’s 5 min. drive to the largest public beach in Door County. The apartment is really nice and convenient place and you should book it, if it’s available. Our second story apartment consists of a bedroom with attached bathroom and a living room with open kitchen. There is a sofa bed in the living room and a small room off the living room with a single bed. The access to the back deck is from the bedroom. The apartment has many windows and it is surrounded by lots of trees. The access to the apartment is from the front of the house ( the stone porch), and the parking is in the front ( between the cedar trees) As you walk in, the wooden stair case leads you to your apartment. The guests have access to the front porch, the large front lawn, the upper deck, as well few games ( baggo and board games) I live in the downstairs apartment, but I’m away most of the time. I lived in the states for 6-7 years, but my English is still not perfect ( it’s a work in progress :) I’d love to chat and give you local recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. Door County is such a fabulous place and I’d be happy to share my experience of it with you. My house is located on the north end of Sister Bay . It is very close to the water, but the shoreline is mostly private and the closest public beach/shore is 15-20 min walk. The downtown beach is 5-6 min. drive. The house is 105 year old house surrounded by an apple orchard on one side and a forest on the other. You need a vehicle to get to the house, but once you arrive, you can go for a walk on Beach road. It’s a 15-20 min walk to The ice cream factory. Also, Sister Bay is renown for its biking, so if you are bringing your bike along, you can enjoy some of the scenic trails around.
