Facing the sea, just a few steps to the clear blue sea. It's a 4-bedrooms bungalow in a fishing village. It comes with wifi, A/Cs, good beds, simple kitchen pantry inside with modern appliance, kitchen next to dining area for simple cooking. We assist in transport arrangement (note: feel free to book tour directly if you have contacts). Great for couples, families with kids & seniors, big groups of friends for relaxation. Welcome to Costa Cantagay in Bohol! 4 Modern bedrooms: Master - Super King bed, en-suite bathroom & hot shower room with AC and fan. Family Room - 2x Queen beds with AC with AC and fan. Shared Bathroom Green Door Room - Queen bed with AC and fan, has partial sea view. Shared Bathroom Yellow Door Room - Queen bed with AC and fan, has partial sea view. Shared Bathroom NOTE: Base price for 2 is for the Master's Bedroom with en-suite bathroom or the Family Room with 2 queen beds. 3rd-6th guest will be in Family Room. Only booking with 7 guests onwards will be accommodated in the entire house and use all 4 bedrooms. Unused bedrooms will be locked. Your privacy will be ensured as the other rooms will not be rented to other guests even if you only book one room. You will NOT share the house with other guests (only helper in the house outside if needed). Pick up from airport or ferry terminal in Tagbilaran is available for a fee. The house has: *Nice dining area with amazing sea view. *Basic kitchen for simple cooking. *A fridge inside the house near the dry pantry. *Bring your Nespresso coffee pods. *Heater for hot water/shower. *Internet wifi is available. *Nice, ample seafront, cliff views and outdoor area to enjoy the sea views. There’s a pantry kitchen inside the house with toaster, electric kettle, fridge and plates, cutleries. Cooking area is also available at the back area facing the sea, right next to the dining area. The back area also has sitting and lounging area to enjoy the sunrise and the sunset facing the ocean view. This vacation house is just a few steps to the sea. It offers private bliss to both domestic and international tourists who want to unwind and get away from it all, or to those who simply want to sample the provincial life in a fishing village and the view of Mindanao sea. The open air terraces offer natural light and striking sea views, and on clear days, you will enjoy the silhouette of Camiguin Island. More about the seaside house Staying in your own vacation rental house provides you with the privacy of your own home, within your affordable budget. Family and friends can take advantage of what the seaside has to offer, since not only can this bungalow accommodate 12 people, it offers very good view of the sunset. In the evenings you can always looked forward to the breathtaking sunset or full moon or sea breeze, which you can enjoy while sitting at the veranda or gazebo. Guest access This is our vacation home and you are welcome. You have access to your room and common areas. Room doors have locks and wardrobes. Please don't go into others rooms, unless it's booked by you at that period. Kitchen has basic amenities. Please send in advance any requests - charges apply for certain requests. Front gate is always locked for safety. Please make arrangements if you will be coming home late. Jagna is a safe town and Bohol in general is safe. Only registered guests are allowed to come in the property. Rental of scooters are available at 500 per day. Please book in advance. The house is approximately 7-10 minutes car ride to the hospital, church, town market, supermarket, Mc Donald’s, ATM machines, shops, restaurants, port (fast and slow ferries go to Camiguin Island, Cagayan de Oro, Butuan City), municipal hall, gymnasium, sports Center and schools. Swimming in the sea in front of the house is safe. However, the area is a marine reserve so please do not take any shells or sea creature from the sea. BEACH access You can always explore the sea grounds in front of the house all by yourself, you can see local folks walking around especially if it's low tide. They are very friendly and charming. A local beach with beach bars and tiny stores is just 5-7 minutes walk away (Can-uba beach). For a more exotic swimming experience, you may also visit the famed Alona Beach of Panglao Island or White Beach of Anda, an hour, and a forty minutes car ride respectively. In Jagna, you can enjoy Kinahugan Falls or Lonoy Cold Spring – both are great for nature lovers and a perfect alternative to swimming pools. Nearby swimming pool is available at 200 pesos per person, the nearest is about 7 minutes car ride. Need us to pick you up from Tagbilaran City/ Panglao to Jagna town? Airport/Port Pick-up and Drop off:Car 3,200 ; Van – P3,800 (one way); from Tagbilaran seaport - 3,000 pesos (one way) Children's books and a collection of bestsellers are available for guests to enjoy. Reliable and welcoming A property caretaker will welcome the guests upon arrival and will be contactable throughout the duration by SMS and call. I will be available to answer sms and messages during the stay but won't be there in person. Our house help will be in the property to clean the grounds and/or collect garbage. Should you need total privacy and do not require anyone coming in, please let us know. Why Jagna, Bohol? If you are visiting Bohol via Manila or Cebu, it's a great idea to see another exotic island - Camiguin - to complete an island hopping vacation. Camiguin is a 4 hours ferry ride away from Jagna Bohol. Please check schedule online. Jagna is about 90 minutes car / van ride from Bohol's new airport in Panglao. Whether you arrive in Bohol via an airplane from Manila or via ferry / boat from Cebu/Dumaguete, a visit in Bohol will be even more exciting and full of experiences at a lesser cost if you stay in Jagna. Especially if you come in a group of 3 to 6 people or more, like a family vacation or a barkada (friends) trip. This is when our seaside house comes really handy for convenience, comfort and saving money. OTHER SERVICES Motorbike rental Laundry Service - available in town Diving and Diving Class - we will link you to the nearest available Dive shop in Jagna or Duero. Children's books, games (dictionary, dictionary, scrabble, chess) and a collection of bestsellers are available for guests to enjoy. Other things to note The house is by the circumferential road which makes is accessible to public transport to Tagbilaran City or Ubay or Anda. The vehicles can be heard inside the house albeit muted. We also donate a good portion of our revenue to sponsoring local teenagers to go to high school. They are selected students whose parents do not have permanent jobs, and yet are motivated to study and finish high school for better opportunities. We provide filtered drinking water. Please use only for drinking and cooking. Let us support the environment by not buying plastic water bottles unless needed.
