Bedroom with private bath in Victorian house
Bedroom with private bath in Victorian house
Description
This bedroom in One Curious Cottage is centrally located- less than a mile to the U of I main quad, bus lines, and downtown Urbana. Please send an inquiry (send me a message) before booking, do not make a request to book, it will be denied. Make sure to read the entire listing and complete list of house rules, and respond accordingly in your inquiry. Depending on the dates and duration, the rates are subject to change. Thanks for your interest! The space Welcome to One Curious Cottage! This ~120 sq ft room with a handsome pocket door and bay windows features a queen-sized pillow top bed and attached private bathroom with shower. The room comes furnished with a desk and chair, bedside table, and dresser. Bedding (pillows, sheets, duvet and duvet cover) is provided and will be washed between each guest. There is no lock for the main bedroom door. This bedroom is adjacent to the living room. The house has central cooling and heating, and is equipped with wifi. One Curious Cottage was built in 1905 - it is a charming old Victorian, but as a 113 year-old house, is no means perfect. This house is a shared living space. Please note that photos are of an unoccupied house. There are housemates living in the house, so please expect a more "lived-in" environment. Guest access You’re welcome to access the common areas- kitchen equipped with basic appliances, utensils, and servingware and living room with a 43” smart TV (Netflix, no cable). During your stay I’ll be mostly around during the weekends, and happy to provide recommendations of things to do and explore in the Chambana area. Other things to note I am constantly improving One Curious Cottage. It is an ongoing project which I am very passionate about. It is not fully furnished, nor perfect. But if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room, with basic amenities at a great location during your stay in Chambana, you'd be very welcome here!
