Double room in a very special spot!
Double room in a very special spot!
Description
This is a lovely little cottage. It's wonderfully quiet and tucked away in the countryside, but close enough to Truro and Falmouth for restaurants/shopping and right next door to Trelissick Garden (National Trust) with beautiful woodland walks on the doorstep. Expect a warm welcome and a relaxing stay. The space This is a really lovely, cosy cottage set in an old stable courtyard with rambling gardens. It has got a great country feel to it and you can enjoy a supply of eggs from the resident chickens, fresh herbs from the garden and probably some homegrown veggies too. If you're after a bit of a quiet retreat for some countryside walks, chilled evenings with a glass of wine in the garden, and a bit of unwinding, then this is definitely for you. If you're after buzz, excitement and nightlife, it probably won't suit! Accessibility: Not great if you need somewhere with good accessibility as the stairs are quite steep with no bannister, and the bathroom is not suitable. Guest access You have your own double room, and share the sitting room, kitchen and bathroom with me. I'm pretty tidy and clean and I like to keep the house looking nice, but I do live here and work from home, so it won't be like a showhome! During your stay I'll be around and about a fair bit as I work from home. I'm always happy to chat and hear about your travels etc so it's fine to hang out in the evenings. I can't bear when people hide in their room all the time - would much rather get to know you! Other things to note There is absolutely no mobile phone signal down here, but there is wifi. You will definitely need a car as well. I have a small dog called Bilbo. He's very chilled out and friendly. The only heating is from the log burner, although there is a small electric heater in the bedroom. During winter months, it probably wouldn't suit you if you feel the cold easily!
