Families enjoy a beautiful, light-filled apartment with a south-facing balcony, located on a leafy side street in a very central location. The Osterstraße subway/bus station (direct link to the main train station, Alster and Elbe), car charging points and a bicycle rental stat. are 250 meters away. The Reeperbahn, harbor, and Alster are 4 kilometers away. Natural light streaming in through large windows above the treetops lends the apartment a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. Here, there's room for shared moments as well as quiet retreats where everyone can find their own haven after an exciting day exploring Hamburg. Beyond all this charm, you won't have to do without anything: a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room, comfortable sleeping arrangements, a large screen with an HD projector, Wi-Fi, and an elevator in the building ensure that your stay is not only special but also thoroughly enjoyable. Guest access You can use any of the rooms shown: * The living room with a 108-inch HD projector and comfortable sofa (86 cm seat depth/sleeping width; two additional people can sleep on the sofa with its comfortable cold foam cushions). * The dining room with a small, cozy south-facing balcony. * The kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer compartment, and other kitchen appliances such as a food processor, coffee maker, smoothie maker, grain mill, etc. * The quiet bedroom with a 180 x 200 cm bed and TV. * A workspace (not yet shown) with a desk, monitor, printer, and flipchart. * The comfortable bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination. Other things to note Dear Guests, We cannot and do not want to compare ourselves to large, commercial providers who rent numerous apartments here in Hamburg, convert them into "bed towers," and then professionally photograph them to send visitors on a so-called "hero's journey." Apparently, this is currently a trend, wherever that journey may lead... With us, you're already a true hero before you even arrive. You and your loved ones will have already embarked on a journey and can truly relax and enjoy yourselves! While the photos may be less professional, you'll find the original charm of Airbnb on-site: personal, natural, and in a genuine feel-good atmosphere. Enjoy bright, spacious, and inviting rooms with real pitch pine floorboards, lovingly furnished with real flowers, birdsong with your morning coffee, or sunsets with a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the greenery. Please understand that the original Airbnb concept also influences the booking process for our apartment. We decide on booking requests based on our mutual trust and intuition. Please don't be upset if we ask you to withdraw your booking request. It's not a decision against you, but simply a subjective one, perhaps due to insufficient information. We promise to make a decision very quickly, so you'll know where you stand with us as soon as possible. We've been here for over 11 years! Did we miss our chance to move out of our rented apartment? Yes. Is that a bad thing? No. It's just too wonderful here. We regularly let families stay in our home for a Hamburg adventure – often after rent increases :-) We were recently fortunate enough to find a small spot outside of Hamburg at a campsite on a beautiful lake, which we visit regularly for our own relaxation.
