Fago is a Spanish municipality and town in the province of Huesca, in Aragon. Located in the westernmost part of the comarca of Jacetania, it is one of the least populated municipalities of the autonomous community counting, according to the census of 2022, with 23 inhabitants. Located next to the river Majones, and close to the border with Navarre, it is a typical Pyrenean mountain village, with cobbled streets and examples of civil architecture with steep roofs, conical chimneys and balconies with skilfully worked wooden railings. Its parish church dates back to the 16th century, although it preserves details from earlier times, such as the Romanesque chrism on its façade, and it has a good collection of altarpieces from the Roman period. Casa Tadeguaz is in the heart of Fago, a house without equal in the area, which will delight those seeking to disconnect from stress and enjoy the murmur of the river and the silence of its forests. There are no shops, bars or restaurants in Fago, so be prepared. However, just 15 minutes away by car you have numerous options in both Aragon and Navarre.
