Within the rooms, you will find everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. All our furniture is made from upcycled wooden furniture people in the area had thrown into the trash. We took it and worked some magic to turn it into stylish new furniture you can use. We even made sure that each room has beach towels and beach chairs that you can take with you down to the lake for some chill time. And we have included an inflatable bed in each room just in case you need a little extra sleep space. Of course, we know the most important thing when looking for somewhere to sleep, is the sleep. Air Conditioning to keep you comfortable in the heat - Check. Room 1 Description Room 1 sleeps 2 people in 1 queen size bed. It has a private bathroom and its own kitchen and living area, The perfectly equipped kitchen is separated from the sleeping space by a divider wall so you can prepare meals for yourself if you choose to. And you can rest assured that thanks to the extractor fan to get rid of all those food smells before you go to sleep. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need to cook and clean up after yourself. Stove (4 rings) Microwave Refrigerator (6ft) French press (because we know coffee is important) Cutlery, and dishes (for 2 people) 2 pans and 1 pot The living area is comfortable and multifunctional. It makes the perfect place to work, eat, watch TV, and rest. There are plenty of power sockets so you can plug in your laptop and charge up all your gear at the same time. And of course, WIFI is included. And we carefully positioned the 32” TV so you can Netflix and chill from the bed or the living area. The room has a queen-sized bed, a place to hang your clothes with 5 hangers, and a ladder to hang your wet towels to dry. In the private bathroom, you will find facial, hand, bath, and beach towels and a cleaning kit for your convenience. Room 2 Description Within room 2 you will find 2 full-size beds, a private bathroom and self continued kitchen and living area. This apartment does also have a window, although we recommend keeping it closed for your comfort and security. In the compact private bathroom, you will find everything you need including facial, hand, bath, and beach towels and a cleaning kit for your convenience. At the main entrance, you'll find the laundry area, which is occasionally used by our cleaning staff to wash and dry clothes for about 1.5 hours. If this might bother you during your stay, please let us know, and we will ensure that no staff enter while you are staying with us. Your comfort is our priority! Additionally, there is an exterior camera overlooking the main entrance from the street. These cameras are installed solely for security purposes, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all our guests. Guest access You will have private access to both rooms. Each of the rooms includes a private kitchenette and bathroom. The entrance to the house and each individual room is locked with a keypad and only you will have access to these areas during your stay with us. Other things to note We love to receive happy guests and believe that our space is ideal for any tourist activity. We are located on the main street of Flores Island, so many restaurants, bars and nightclubs are just a few meters away, keep in mind that it is always kept in a super lively and fun atmosphere so noise and music can be a problem. Also because it is located in a humid place and very close to the lake, you may encounter certain insects such as spiders, flies, butterflies, etc.. They are not dangerous but this is their habitat so you are sure to see some. Also, please note that power fluctuations are common on Flores Island (and throughout Petén), which can occasionally affect electricity and internet service. To protect our appliances, including the AC and TV, we use voltage regulators. If the voltage drops, some devices may turn off automatically but will restart on their own once things stabilize—so there's no need to adjust the controls. We kindly ask guests not to turn off the AC manually, as it won’t come back on automatically afterward. Ceiling fans are available and can be controlled from the wall. While we provide the best internet available on the island, with each apartment having its own router connected directly to the main server, speeds may still vary at times due to local power conditions. During your stay, housekeeping and maintenance staff may be present on the property as part of our ongoing efforts to keep everything in excellent condition. Your private space will always be respected, and no staff member will enter your room without prior authorization. You may occasionally see them in the common areas, always maintaining a respectful and discreet presence. If this is ever uncomfortable for you, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to coordinate with the staff to avoid any entry during your stay, ensuring you have a peaceful and pleasant experience. We also want to be transparent and let you know that occasional issues with the water service may arise on the island, such as temporary outages or low water pressure. These situations are due to local supply conditions and are unfortunately beyond our control. When this happens, we do everything we can to resolve the issue promptly or provide alternative solutions to ensure your stay remains comfortable. We understand how essential this service is and truly appreciate your patience and understanding if any inconvenience occurs during your visit. Parking spot? The property does not offer private parking. However, street parking is the available option. It’s public, safe, and there’s usually space nearby. Many of our guests have used it without any issues. Neighborhood description We are located on the main street in Flores so you are just a few steps away from the best restaurants, bars, and cafes. It can get pretty hot in Flores so it’s good to know that if you want to cool off there is a bar/ restaurant with a swimming pool customers can use. Getting around Thanks to Hostted Apartments' prime location getting around isn't going to be a problem. The red TucTucs can be flagged down right outside on the street and will take you anywhere you need to go locally. If you need to go a little further afield then you will find the bus stop just a few meters away with buses traveling to Tikal, Yaxhá, Lanquín, Belize, and other destinations.
