Description

The Lawrence Loft is a peaceful, comfortable accommodation. We strive to ensure all guests have what they need and leave well rested. You have easy access to your guest area from the shared main entrance, directly up the stairs. We are 2.5-3 miles from City Center, in a quiet neighborhood. There is a nearby park, and free public transport. You have in-room coffee, seltzer and filtered water. We can arrange a simple breakfast feature for longer term guests. The space This is a Townhome, and our private residence. You share the home with us, your hosts. The neighborhood is quiet, on a dead end street which offers extra security and low traffic. Guests have a room and a dedicated full bathroom at the top of the stairs. Quiet, clean, colorful and extremely comfortable. This accommodation shares the second level with our private office. We may occasionally work quietly in the office without any disturbance to your privacy. Our front door takes you right up the (shared) stairs. Shared space includes the living room, TV (this is the only TV on property) patio and yard, and the kitchen/dining area, including the refrigerator. You have access (with some advance notice, please) to the laundry facilities. Guests are welcome to share the kitchen and other common areas as noted. Guest access We offer a keyless entry for "Self Check-In" convenience. Your Code and other details are provided before check-in. However, when we are home, we often try to meet you at the door at check-in. We live here, so meeting guests face to face is a good practice, when possible. If we don't answer the bell, just use your code. Our front door takes you right up the stairs. (You will share the stairs, as our private office is upstairs. Our occasional use of the office while we are hosting is typically not a problem for our guests) Your room and bath is around the corner—to the right—at top of stairs. There is never a "curfew" except that we like to know when you will be checking in on your first night. Once you are setted in, please come and go as you like. There is a key to the room door on the desk of your room. Guests do 📣not have access to: the primary bedroom, main floor bathroom or our private office. You have access to the garage for garbage containers and storage of smaller items. Upon request, you may store excess belongings (bicycles, etc) in our garage, and depending upon circumstances we may provide the garage code. During your stay Privacy is a top value for us, and many guests want their time to be a “silent” retreat. We respect that! Additionally, if you'd like to chat and socialize: we are reasonably attuned to taking cues and we are available a lot. Hosting has allowed us to meet some great people, we have even made lifelong friends! We are always willing to answer questions, meet any needs you might have, or give local recommendations. Please ask if there is anything we can do to make your stay absolutely perfect. Other things to note There is an additional, modest fee for a second person on the reservation. We are a no smoking household. We have a dog friends that visit occasionally *All are welcome and this is a LGBTQ-friendly and Transgender Safe Space accommodation.
