Welcome to our enchanting canvas bell tent located on our peaceful hobby farm in the heart of the Bankhead National Forest. These tents can get very hot with no air conditioning, shade, or air circulation. Guests stay at their own risk and should be weather aware and know their limits. The space The canvas bell tent boasts a spacious 20ft width and features One cozy queen size bed and one fulll size futon. Both with memory foam mattresses, ensuring a comfortable and restful night's sleep. Relax and unwind around the inviting fire pit, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. For convenience, we provide a porta potty and camping sink in a nearby outhouse, eliminating the need to venture far from your temporary outdoor oasis. To keep you warm during cooler nights, a portable propane heater is available. Additionally, we have a charging station for all your electronic devices. As our valued guest, you'll have access to shared spaces that include a fully-equipped, beautifully finished barn complete with a full kitchen. Feel free to prepare meals and share stories with other guests, creating unforgettable memories together. Our location offers easy access to some of the best hikes in the Bankhead National Forest. Smoking is not allowed inside the unit or any of the buildings. Please respect the tranquility of the farm and the privacy of other guests. This tent is closest to the barn and bath house and may be your best choice if you want to be within the view of the farm and other campers. This tent, does have some road noise . The tent does not have power, but there are solar lights that will kick on at night and last until early morning. One lantern is provided, please bring additional flashlights if you see the need. There is a private patio area with a fire pit. Please take the time to make yourself familiar with the map in the listing so that you can easily find your tent, the barn, and the bath house. We are working on signs to help direct you to the correct tent as there are others on the property, but for now all we have is the map. We are a safe space for any guest regardless of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. No one is discriminated against here as long as they are respectful to house rules, and other guests. Guest access The barn is a shared space where guests have access to the restroom and the kitchen. Utensils and cookware is available as well, please wash after use. Feel free to say hello to our farm animals but be aware that guests are not permitted to access the animals without supervision. Farm tours are available upon request at $25/person. Other things to note If you wish to add on any amenities such as firewood or propane, please give us a 24 hour notice. Due to our location in the forest, we must use the protection of a livestock guardian on our farm to protect from predators. Our guardian is extremely friendly and will not be a threat to humans. She will likely come visit your site and become part of the family during your stay. There is also a barn cat, or two, who like to visit with guests. Most guests are animal lovers, and enjoy the company, but if allergies are an issue and you would like for me to put them up during the duration of your stay, please make me aware and I will be happy to put them up in a safe area.
