This centrally located beach house is situated just south of Pottsville town - just a short 5 minute walking distance to the main street, shops, cafes, restaurants or about 7 minutes to walk to the beautiful creek and beach (over the bridge). **This is a family home in a family friendly complex. Not a party house, respectful guests only** Sleeps 8 comfortably with the option to add additional guests (extra fee) for a total of 10 max (ideally kids in the bunk beds). There are 3 bedrooms with: King size bed plus private ensuite Queen size bed (main bathroom with bath shared with bunk room) Bunk room with 2 x triple bunks (single bed on top, double bed underneath) - sleeping up to 6 kids or small adults! - (main bathroom with bath shared with queen bedroom). All bedrooms have built-in-robes. Each of the three bedrooms, plus the kitchen/living area have reverse cycle airconditioning/heating so you can enjoy my house any time of the year or season! The open plan kitchen/living with large bench top is great for family meals and entertaining. You can also enjoy the large backyard with undercover patio, day bed, fire pit and outdoor entertainment setting. There is a separate living area upstairs in the 'kids bunk room', with extra couch and TV with DVD player and a selection of DVDs. The main bathroom has a bath, shower and toilet and the ensuite has a shower and toilet. There is an additional toilet downstairs. The garage is locked as it is being used for storage. There is a study nook under the stairs in the living room with desk. My place has a washing machine and dryer which you are welcome to use. Free parking onsite in front of the townhouse/garage (as long as you are not blocking the townhouses on either side) or there are 3 visitor parks which are first come, first serve, or free parking in the cul-de-sac on the street. The complex has a pool out the front which you are welcome to use, although the creek and beach are literally a 5 minute walk away. Please be respectful of the other residents and children in the complex as most are long term tenants or owner occupied so this is their home. Make sure you experience the creek at high tide - especially incoming tide (1-3 hours before high tide) - where you can walk to the creek mouth, jump in and float down the creek without lifting a finger! When the weather I clear and sunny, the water colour resembles Fiji it is so stunning! There is a 'creek beach' on the north side of the creek which is great for kids! You can access from Tweed Coast Road and the walking track to the creek beach next to Ambrose Brown park/playground. Again, incoming high tide is always best for the creek as it is tidal and flows in from the ocean (rather than the outgoing tide which brings water from further inland which can be murkier). When the tide is low, head to the beach instead. There is a beach trolley under the patio out back which you are welcome to use - this makes walking to the beach more enjoyable than carrying loads of stuff! Guest access The whole house and backyard, with the exclusion of the garage, is available as part of the booking. Other things to note This is also my home filled with my belongings. It is a family friendly beach house that has been mostly renovated. Some areas are still a little unfinished, such as painting, but overall the place is very clean, spacious, comfortable and cosy.
