Bring your bottle of wine and enjoy the stunning mountain and lake views on one of the three decks. During the day, take a short hike on the property to the dock to fish or canoe on the lake. Welcome to the Outpost! You'll enter into the open, expansive center of the home with authentic log wood lining the floors and ceilings. The living room boasts large ceilings with a smart TV, couch, and ottoman for enjoying conversation. In the same space, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a blender, crock pot, drip coffee maker, and modern appliances. A dining table and bar top is located in the kitchen for easy, family access. Downstairs, you'll also find a bedroom with bunk beds and a TV for the kids and another bedroom with a queen bed. Across from the downstairs bedrooms is a full bathroom and laundry closet. A staircase leads to the large, loft master bedroom that overlooks the living space. The master loft includes a shared working space and a cozy nook for reading. A master bathroom includes a shower and bathtub. Outdoor living meets luxury and can be enjoyed year-round. There are three decks for the whole family to enjoy. A small deck with a loveseat is located just off the master bedroom loft. Downstairs and off the main living space is a large deck with rocking chairs and a dining table to enjoy your meals and morning coffee. Walk down to the lower deck and enjoy watching the sunset in the hot tub while the kids watch TV and roast s'mores. This home is located 13 minutes from downtown Ellijay and 18 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. There are plenty of hiking trails and outdoor activities nearby. You'll also have access to a cleared hiking path on the property for you and your family to walk down to the dock on Lake Whitepath. Bring your fishing pole and bait or use the canoe to enjoy the serene small lake. We have a pack n play (please bring your own sheet) and sound machines and shades in the downstairs bedroom so your little one can take naps in a place that is dark and comfy. We have a high chair in the downstairs closet. We also childproofed the outlets and included a gate for the stairs.
