The original two-story log cabin has been beautifully renovated. The lower level serves as the Great Room, complete with a bluestone, gas fireplace built from rock quarried on the property. In addition, a home theatre system complete with a pull-down screen, projector, surround sound and DVD/Blu-ray player is available for guest use. In all, the house features four large bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom plus one additional full bathroom on the first floor. Stonewall Crossing also features luxurious, modern amenities. A fully appointed, chef’s-quality kitchen with granite countertops opens to the dining room--perfect for cooking, entertaining, and gathering to enjoy special meals. Off the dining room and surrounding the house is a two-story deck overlooking the river and perfect for socializing, watching the sunset, or relaxing with a good book. An outdoor patio with a fireplace is steps from the front door and perfect for stargazing by a fire. Next to the patio is a large open field perfect for throwing a ball or playing games. Guest access Guests are renting the entire house and will have access to surrounding grounds. There is a large grassy area next to the house which is perfect for throwing a frisbee or soccer games. Take a short hike to an old quarry on the farm and enjoy views of the remaining swirling rock wall . Rock from this quarry was used to build Skyline Drive. Other things to note Stonewall Crossing has private access to the Shenandoah River. Guests enjoy use of 8 kayaks and a fire pit and picnic table located on the banks of the River.
