The space The treehouse has a interior footprint of 408sqft with 120sqft loft bedroom space. Outdoor cover porch area is approx 200 sqft. The main level upon which you enter is an open floor plan design with kitchen, living and main bedroom all on one level which look out through large picture windows to the covered back porch. You will arrive at the tree house front door via the winding walkway custom made of hickory and mountain laurel. As you wind your way to the front door you will get the sense of the artistically crafted space you are about to enter. Years of work and dreaming went into the design and crafting of such a unique space. As you arrive at the front porch you enter through the custom oak arched doorway with unique port hole window! You immediately enter into the kitchen with full sink set into a masterfully crafted birdseye maple live edge countertop. Kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker, pots pans, convection microwave, refrigerator with freezer, and electric burner if you wish to prepare a small meal. The kitchen is divided by a large pane less reclaimed window from the queen bed area. As you move through the kitchen into the open living space you pass the first of the tree stems woven into the structure of the tree house. Moving into the living room area you have a large couch for relaxing watching tv or just enjoying the space. You will notice the wide plank hickory flooring throughout the treehouse giving it such a refined custom look. As you gaze up to the ceiling to will see the many different wood products and tree varieties that were utilized to create such a custom space. All of the ceiling is ship lapped with a mix of yellow poplar, hickory, red and white oak. Wall paneling is all red and white oak ship lap giving the space such a warm and cozy feel! Off to the left of the main living space is the first of two queen beds tucked into a quaint little nook. All beds have high quality sheets and memory foam mattress. This space is defined by the custom globe light fixture combine with a reclaimed LL Bean toboggan sled as a head board which really gives it the tree house cabin feel. As you peer through the open space into the living room you will notice the utilization of laurel branching that giving the sense of sleeping within the trees. Situated in between the two large picture windows is the second large tree stem made of eastern red cedar that was brought into the construction early on complete with branching the extends up into the ceiling as if you are sitting right in the Forest as you relax inside. Directly as the base of the tree stem centrally located is a free standing gas stove for those cold nights. The tree house also has electric heating and air conditioning. Working you way to the back of the space you find the finely crafted wooden spiral staircase which takes you to the loft area Where the second queen bed is located. Very uniquely crafted the wooden spiral is made of walnut, cherry, hickory, and pine Large cherry and walnut live edge stair treads stagger their way around complete with a mountain laurel rail that appears to be grown just to fit the space! In the loft you will find the second queen bed as well as antique baby bed converted into a comfy seat for you to relax as you read a book at just rest and take in the outdoor view of the trees through the windows that give you a peak into the canopies of the hardwoods that surround. Working back down the spiral staircase conveniently located you will find the entry to the full bathroom through a reclaimed stain glass door! Full bathroom has a large tub and shower combo for anyone looking forward to a relaxing bath. Also in this space is a vintage Porcelain sink as well as the washer and dryer which has a large live edge countertop to store and luggage or laundry. As you walk through the living room to the back of the tree house you exit onto the large timber framed covered back porch. In this space you will find the a spacious area with two custom hammock swings where you can nap or read a book as you enjoy these natural surroundings. Also situated in the back corner of you porch you will find the hot tub for anyone looking to soak in the outdoors enjoying the peaceful surrounds. Growing up through the porch floor and extending through the roof is a live mockernut hickory tree making this area feel as If you are sitting within the trees. If you have a desire to relax around the firepit then look no further. Just off to the south of the tree house a rock fire pit with seating has been constructed for your relaxation. Our goal is to create a truly unique space resulting in an experience you want forget. Our goal was to embellish and showcase the beauty of the forest in its natural state as well in show casing all the wood products it can offer.
