Charming cottage with two bedrooms and two baths adjacent to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Seashore forest. Across the street from Glen Lake at southern end of the Narrows. Lake Michigan beaches and dunes are two miles down the road. Public access to Big and Little Glen Lakes lies within walking distance, and some of the best road biking in the Midwest begins at the end of your driveway. Weekly rentals June through August starting on Saturdays. Two night minimum during rest of year. The space Walk your kayak or SUP to the Narrows and hop in. Begin a bike ride at your door and head to Glen Arbor village center to catch the Heritage Trail--or head northeast on MacFarlane for a challenging ride past Inspiration Point, around Big Glen Lake to the Crystal River and the Heritage Trail. The cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a screened-in porch. Outside there is a fire pit, back deck and front patio. Rents Saturday to Saturday in the summer. Check in 4PM - check out 11 AM. House is just across Little Glen Lake from Sleeping Bear Dunes and the Dune Climb with Big and Little Glen Lakes across the street. Boat rentals available in walking distance. Bring kayaks and walk to public access on the Narrows Bridge. Superb biking. Major hills surround the house, including on MacFarlane and a series of seven ascents on Benzonia, but equally possible to reach the Heritage Trail bike path stretching from Empire to Good Harbor Bay without a single significant climb by riding into Glen Arbor and catching the Heritage Trail there. Guest access Yard and house are available to guests. We ask guests not to use garage other than as may be necessary for reaching electric panel. Other things to note House has a full-house, automatic generator powered by natural gas.
