We're ready to assist for a delightful stay. The space Our exquisite home graces one of the finest neighborhoods in the Bay Area, offering a tranquil and serene ambiance. This single-story residence features two bedrooms strategically positioned at opposite ends for best privacy, a complete bathroom, a kitchen, and an expansive living/dining room. Complemented by complimentary parking for one car and the option of paid off-street parking for additional cars, this dwelling is equipped with high-speed internet and most essential amenities for a comfortable living experience. Moreover, we pride ourselves on seamlessly compensating for any hardware imperfections with our genuine hospitality. Ideal for families, students, tourists, and professionals alike, our residence combines convenience and safety in a harmonious blend, steps away from Stanford University. Guest access Guests will experience a smooth and contactless self-check-in/check-out process with the assistance of our lockbox. For the guests that the use of electronic devices is restricted for some reasons, our residence offers the traditional lockbox (without the need of using electronic device) for added convenience. If guests need personal assistance during check-in or check-out, we are more than willing to provide support whenever possible. Other things to note In-Law Unit Details: Adjacent to the main house, the in-law unit features one bedroom with a separate entrance. The unit shares a common wall with the main house kitchen, and the bathroom is adjacent to the main house bathroom (also sharing a wall). Shared Amenities: Laundry room, yard, and driveway. No Air Conditioning: Like many homes in this area, there is no air conditioning due to the typically mild, Mediterranean-like climate. There may be occasional warm days, but extreme heat is rare. Multiple portable fans are provided for your comfort. General Notes: No lawn care, landscaping, or views are included in this listing. A washer is provided; a dryer is not included. Guests may choose to air-dry clothes or use our wash & fold service provided by the cleaning team. For most stays over 3 nights, we offer one complimentary wash & fold service. Additional services are available at $60 per use for a reasonable amount of garments. In case of any discrepancy, the amenity list is the most accurate and should be considered definitive. Maintenance & Drainage: We are generally generous in addressing small damages without charging guests. To help prevent drainage issues, please pick up hair in the tub and use strainers in both the bathtub and kitchen. We always double-check drainage before check-in. Guests are responsible for repair costs if drainage issues occur during or after their stay (this has not happened before, as reflected in our reviews). Shower Drain: Please keep the strainer/hair catcher in place at all times. Removing it during showers can easily clog the drain. If the strainer is removed and a clog occurs, guests will be responsible for the plumbing cost—which can be quite high in this area. To keep the water draining smoothly (and your shower more enjoyable 😊), please clean out any collected hair and dispose of it in the trash regularly. Furniture: Please do not move furniture unless approved by the host. If furniture is moved and not returned to its original position, our cleaning team may charge an additional fee to reset the space, and the cost will be the guest’s responsibility. House Rules: Not exceeding 6 people at any given time unless permitted by hosts Quiet hours: 8:00 PM – 10:00 AM (no loud noise, loud music, or laundry use) No drugs or smoking Refrain from loud music or excessive noise Prior host permission is required for any gatherings We kindly ask that you respect our neighbors.
