Beautiful holiday rental in the French countryside

La Petite Grange has been lovingly renovated to offer comfortable, stylish self-catering accommodation. Set in the village of Oradour Fanais, near to the town of Confolens, Charente and surrounded by fields and trees the French holiday gite provides all home comforts, air conditioning, bbq, private enclosed garden and parking. The self-catering accommodation has 1 bedroom with king size bed. The gite is very private with its own entrance and garden. Children and small dogs are very welcome. The space La Petite Grange Gite is accessed through French double doors from the private, enclosed patio garden. The open plan living/dining/kitchen is light, bright and spacious and has been furnished with love. The green velvet sofa can also be set up as a small double bed, with bedding provided. There is a large flat screen smart tv with satellite UK channels and French box to, Netflix access is also provided along with a DVD player and a selection of DVD's, books and games. The well equipped kitchen has everything to meet guests needs including oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, hand mixer, coffee machine and ample pots, pans, utensils, glassware and cutlery. A complimentary welcome pack is provided on guest arrival which includes fresh bread, milk, cheese, jam and of course a bottle of wine. Air conditioning is provided to this space. There is a large bedroom with a very comfortable King size bed and all cotton bedding is provided. French Oak double wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet add character to this room with its exposed original beams. Air conditioning is provided to this room. From the bedroom a door leads to the spacious bathroom with its large corner bath, walk in shower, vanity unit and wall hung storage unit. All towels are provided and there is a selection of complimentary French toiletries for guest use. Guest access La Petite Grange Gite has been set up with the aim of providing guest privacy and comfort, parking is to the front of the gite where a gate leads down an exclusive path to the gite entrance. The patio is completely enclosed and the main house does not overlook any part of the gite. While the owners are on site they will stay discreetly away unless required. Windows in the lounge look out onto the larger grassed garden to the side of the gite which is also available for guest use. Other things to note Host will provide a complimentary laundry service during your stay (wash or wash/dry) and an iron and ironing board is provided for guest use. A useful information pack is provided in the gite, places to eat, things to do, shopping etc all included and the host is happy to make any restaurant reservations on behalf of the guest. Breakfast hampers, special occasion gifts, spa treatments, massages etc can also be arranged on guest behalf at an additional cost. Please ask for details.
