Perched on 2 acres overlooking Augur Lake, bring the whole family to experience the magic of this amazing place with lots of room for fun playing in the sandbox, lawn games, paddling, and bonfires; or enjoy some relaxation and watch the sunrise on the lake from the patio with a cup of coffee or take in the fresh evening breeze during happy hour. Whether you decide to cozy up by the fireplace with your favorite book, or are playing board games, the memories you make here will last a lifetime. The space Welcome to Augur Lakeside Ridge! With views from nearly every room and lots of natural light, this is the perfect place for a large group where everyone is sure to find their own favorite spot. The kitchen is large and spacious, with everything you need to cook a delicious dinner, and is open enough so that you stay feeling connected to the group while cooking. With 5 bedrooms, and 3.5 baths, there are enough options to fit up to 16 people, and 4 out of the 5 bedrooms have doors leading to the outside. The master bedroom is one of a kind with a spa bathroom, a reading nook, and an extra room for a child or another person to sleep. And there is air conditioning in almost every room - a true luxury in the Adirondacks! The house itself is perched upwards from the lake with a short walk down the driveway which leads directly to the lake and the yard area. This driveway/walkway is steep but since it can be driven, it's a great option for people who may not want to walk themselves. Note however that this path is not plowed in the wintertime which makes for great snowshoeing and/or cross country skiing. There is also a sandy area for easy swimming to the right of the dock and a sandbox on the lawn that is great for kids or adult kids. There are 2 firepits- one right down by the lake, and one close to the patio on the left side of the house for easy access times. It's the nature of the Adirondacks and its not uncommon for wifi to get sketchy at times. Our wifi is high speed satellite internet, though, and for the most part, you shouldn't have much trouble getting online or getting work done if you choose.
