Enjoy taking a nap on the hammock out front, dozing off on a pool chair in back, dip in the pool and gaze up at the blue sky or dunk into the hot tub at dusk listening to the crickets chirping in the distance and the night sky lights up with stars. NOTE: We continue to follow CDC guidelines regarding the cleaning of our home and it receives a top to bottom thorough cleaning between guests. All bed linens, blankets and mattress pads are laundered and replaced with fresh sets as are bath and pool towels. Guest access Guests are welcome to use all indoor and outdoor spaces. Other things to note This is a quiet neighborhood and respect to the neighbors is due at all times. No parties are allowed at this house, nor disruptive noises in outdoor areas. In order to book, please share who are your guests and that you have read and agree to the house rules. Pool: The pool is not heated by default. The cost to heat the pool is $90 the first day to bring the pool up to the temperature of 84 degrees and $65 per subsequent day. If you are interested in having the pool heated, please let us know 24 hours prior to your check in to ensure the pool will be to temperature upon your arrival. The spa can be heated at any time during your stay and reached a max temperature of 104 degrees. Both the pool and spa are maintained by way of chemical treatment on a weekly basis and tested the day prior to your arrival to ensure the correct chemical balance. A new energy efficient heater was installed in late 2019, the filters are periodically cleaned, the walls of the pool and spa are manually scrubbed each week or more as needed, and a pool cleaner runs the floor of the pool each day to help ensure the pool is clean and safe for your enjoyment. Per the CDC: "There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19."
