The space Our house is a cosy space, made of wood, adobe and reed, designed for sharing and meditation. It is a refuge where you can disconnect and reconnect with nature. We invite you to explore the estate, walk through our gardens, visit the milking parlour and harvest fresh herbs and blackberries from the orchard for your meals. The place is a paradise for lovers of Andean flora and fauna. An ideal site for Andean bird watching. For the more adventurous, our location is a strategic point to begin the ascent to the Atacazo páramo (3 hours of walking) or reach its summit (7 hours). Enjoy evenings in the outdoor areas with a barbecue, board games, ping pong table, foosball, and darts. We have prepared the house with the same care that we would like to receive ourselves, thinking of every detail for your comfort. The main room has a fireplace and firewood to make your evenings warmer and cosier. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you need. You will find fresh produce such as rosemary, mint, and lemon verbena in our garden. All rooms have radiators for cold mountain nights. For your entertainment, the television has access to Netflix and DirecTV. If you would like to try the delicious local cuisine, our neighbour, the Sierra Alisos country hotel, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with fresh produce and local recipes. The hotel is only one kilometre away (advance booking required). Guest access You have access to the entire house and outdoor spaces, except for one room that always remains closed, as well as some cupboards with personal belongings. Other things to note The high Andean climate is variable. In the morning it can be hot and at night it is always cold, so we recommend bringing warm clothes.
