The space Our private two-storey detached home backs directly onto the incredible forest and river views of a National Capital Commission forest and the Rideau River in a centrally located family-friendly & sought-after neighborhood. With direct access to the calm of nature in the heart of the city, the home is uniquely positioned to maximize your rest and relaxation while providing convenient and easy access to the best that Ottawa has to offer: - 7 minutes from Ottawa International Airport - 20 minutes to downtown/Parliament Hill/Byward Market - 12 minutes to Landsdowne - 6 minutes to Mooneys Bay Depending on the season, you will enjoy unobstructed views of the Rideau river framed by either a rainbow of gorgeous fall foliage, a silver and white winter wonderland, or the opportunity to forest bathe right in the backyard under the lush and full growth of the various shades of green of the NCC forest. If you feel adventurous, you can also easily access walking paths along the Rideau River. Designed with comfort and relaxation as our priority, our home features a contemporary/boho design which is complemented by a collection of original oil paintings from local artist Cazibe. You will be enjoying thick forest foliage views during late spring/summer. - You will NOT be sharing the space with anyone - you get full access to the entire property and amenities listed (except the basement and garage, which are locked and used for storage). - We follow CDC guidelines to ensure that your stay is safe and clean, with an enhanced cleaning before and after each guest. - This is our family home.
