16th Century Grade II Listed Cottage for 5 People

Converted barn (self catering) with views of the Tor, large sitting room with log burner & open plan kitchen, 2 double bedrooms - one bedroom has a double and single (shower room next to it) and the other a super king size double bed (en-suite shower room). Wonderful self contained unit including an open plan sitting room/kitchen with vaulted ceilings and wood burner. There is a fully functional kitchen with everything you need to cater for yourself. In one bedroom we have a super king size zip & link double bed & en-suite shower room. The other has a double bed and a single bed & next to it is the shower room. The Cottage is attached (annex) to the farmhouse. The house is built from the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey! Outside - private lavender garden, croquet lawn, badminton court, large stone built fire pit for you to use.. Wi-fi: We do not have super fast fibre optic. We happily use it for Facetime/Zoom. Mobile phone reception inside the cottage can be weak because of the thickness of the walls. O2 is good in our area. Guest access You have full access to the grounds but be mindful of the horses. There is plenty of parking outside the cottage. Glastonbury and Street within 10 minutes by car, approximately 45 - 60 minute walk. Other popular places that our guests have visited - Wells (20 mins drive), Bath (45 mins), Lyme Regis (45 mins), Cheddar Gorge (40 mins). The local pub, The Lion is a 20/30 minute walk. We have a list of other nearby pubs and restaurants on our website. We also have a list of local taxi companies . Other things to note We will try to meet you on your arrival, but if this is not possible, instructions will be left for you for gaining access - the cottage keys are kept in the secure key lockbox. We have a grass badminton court but note that it is not professionally laid out and the surface is uneven but fun to play on. There is also a croquet lawn and large stone built fire pit by the apple trees
