Prepare to be blown away by the astounding sunrises , sunsets and awesome moonrises you will enjoy at the Pointe of Blessing. We feel our canyon perch is a gift from God too good to keep to ourselves. Our cozy home sits atop an outcropping of rock which juts out from the canyon rim affording us unobstructed views up and down the length of the Crooked River Canyon. We overlook several holes of the Crooked River Ranch golf course and Smith Rock is visible in the distance to the South. The space My husband and I, with the help of many friends from our church, transformed this basic single wide manufactured home into a one of a kind view point. We moved doors, put in the slider on the deck, and reconfigured the kitchen. We took out a bathroom and bedroom to create our incredible living room and put in a wall of windows all along the east side of the house to bring in the canyon views. It has been a labor of love and learning for us. We hope you enjoy the results. Our home is located in a rural community at the end of a cul- de-sac in a quiet neighborhood. 1000 square feet of living space is well used and very comfortable. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a queen pull out couch with a mattress topper in the living room. Before our remodel, the living room was the master bedroom and bathroom. There were no views from the front of the house. The living room now boasts a phenomenal view of the valley below as well as a wood stove for cozy evenings in the winter. My husband is the pastor of the small church nestled in the golf course which you will see perfectly framed in the living room view. The kitchen is well stocked and equipped with cookware, bakeware, basic cooking oils, spices, and cleaning supplies. It is a delight to cook in as you are able to take in the views and converse with friends with the open floor plan. The dining area is set up for two people but can be easily rearranged to accommodate four. The bathroom is small as it was the secondary bathroom but it has everything you need. The showstopper of our home is the deck which is nearly as big as the house itself at 900 sq ft. The views from it never fail to get wows. We can cheer for the golfers on the course below and on early mornings in the summer watch hot air balloons sail by. The birds of prey soaring at eye level past our windows are awesome to behold. We have many seating areas around the acre to take in the views. Washer and dryer available and there is a Weber grill on the deck. The amenities of Crooked River Ranch are at your feet so to speak: Golf course, community swimming pool (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day-pool pass available), baseball field, disc golf course, bocce ball courts, restaurants, local pubs, pickle ball/tennis courts, and an abundance of hiking trails. Other things to note Our home comes with spectacular overlook views which means we are located on a cliff side. Please be careful when walking around the property. Our Internet speed is not very fast. We can stream movies and navigate the web but not at rocket speed. Our focus is unplugging and relaxation. Please keep in mind that our home is not huge. It is ideal for 2 people but can comfortably accommodate up to 4. NOTE: this home and property is not suited for young children or pets with the proximity to the canyon edge.
