High-spec self-catering converted stable (Victor)

Victor is a high-spec, self-catered, stable conversion, with a Visit England 4 Star Gold Award. Access to outdoor swimming pool, hot-tub, gym, boules pitch and private garden. Set in a great location (7 miles from Cambridge) in the beautiful village of Barrington with the picturesque village pub, the Royal Oak, just 5 minutes walk away, with a great network of walks and bike rides from your doorstep. Unfortunately we cannot take children, but we welcome well-behaved dogs (sorry no cats). The space This stable has a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, along with a cosy leather sofa for relaxing to watch TV (Smart TV with internet access). It is decorated with amazing prints from Sylvia Smettem, winner of Best Amateur Artist of the Year at the Royal Academy, and soft warm colours on the wall to give a homely feel. Through the oak bi-fold doors is the bedroom with views over the private garden and our free-range chickens beyond (sometimes they might even come and say hello!). A comfortable large king size bed is adjoined by a luxurious en-suite shower room. A large shower tray with beautiful marble effect panels, large shower head and heated towel rails. The floor is Karndean in a herringbone pattern, in typical fashion of old stables, and has fantastic underfloor heating throughout providing a comfortable and warm place to stay throughout the year. Guest access The gardens are a shared space with the owners - this includes access to the swimming pool, hot-tub, boules pitch, portable BBQ and various outdoor seating areas. Victor's stable has its own private garden with patio and chairs. Other things to note Adults only, strictly maximum 2-person occupancy.
