The space Our home is a renovated, light filled, 1930's Californian Bungalow in the inner bayside suburb of Newport. It comfortably accommodates eight people. Sit by the open fire and enjoy a glass of wine or take in a movie on our Samsung smart TV. We have access to hundreds of movies through Netflix and Stan, there is also Kayo, or enjoy the extensive library of music on the surround sound music system. We have a vast kitchen with all the mod cons to prepare a gourmet meal or a quick snack after a day of sightseeing. Enjoy off street parking. Walk five minutes down our safe, suburban street to the train station and be in the CBD/downtown area in 20 minutes. Our home is 10 kms from the Melbourne CBD by car. You'll be very comfortable in one of three bedrooms including a master with modern ensuite with bath. A fourth king single bed is set up in the study which also has a single mattress that can be set up on the floor. We also have a family bathroom and separate washroom. Guest access BEDROOMS You will have complete, private access to our house during your stay. We won't be present during your stay. The house has three bedrooms and a study. Master: Queen sized bed with Tempur mattress and King size doona. This room has an ensuite with bath, shower and toilet and a walk in robe. Bedroom 1: Queen Bed - room for a single mattress on the floor Bedroom 2: Queen bed with memory foam mattress. Study: Double Sofa Bed. We also have a Queen bed mattress. You could easily fit more people but an additional charge will apply. ENTERTAINMENT We have a high definition Samsung Smart HD TV with BluRay player. Our DVD library is extensive with movies catering to all genres. We are also connected to Netflix and Kayo for your enjoyment. KITCHEN/OPEN PLAN LIVING AND DINING Full hostess kitchen with Miele appliances, two ovens, induction cooktop, granite benchtop, walk in pantry, large fridge and freezer. The host is a keen baker and cook, so there is everything you could need to prepare a healthy breakfast or a fancy dinner party. The Dining Room table seats 8. LAUNDRY - Laundry facilities include a Miele front loading washing machine and washing line outside. There are two drying racks for use inside. YARD We have a good sized backyard. Our North facing deck is a nice space for outdoor living and relaxing. We also have toys suitable for children. We are a happy, friendly family with two children under 12. We have travelled extensively and look forward to welcoming other travellers to our home.
