This rustic accommodation was formerly the Millinery House (circa 1882), once the home of Harry Jelly, the nephew of town founder William Jelly. This guesthouse is smoke free environment, its not be suitable for those who love new homes; However, it can be a charming home for ones who are passionate about the old world charm & like to make it a short time home at reasonable price (free coffee, tea, treats & parking). We do not charge for cleaning fee, so please keep the house less mess. Thank The space Guest accommodation is the original Millinery House, its closed back door connecting to an additional unit at the rear. This is the hosts' private exclusive place. The host can use this back door to enter the main house to assist guests if needed or in some urgent situations. The main floor of the guesthouse has solarium, dining kitchenette with vintage 2 burners stove (for "light cooking" only), combined dining and living room, and fully equipped bathroom. The second floor has two bedrooms (1 queen; 1 single + toddler bed) and a powder room. Guest access Important notes: Guests can park in our driveway (no trailer or RV), and use the private side entrance (not back or front door) to the house. Some places guests are not allowed to access: 1). The attic, where plumbing, wiring, insulation, etc. (for safety assurance) 2). Hosts' private storage (in the kitchen) 3). Hosts' private place at rear. Other things to note Electric fireplace in living room is working; however, the ones in the solarium and kitchen are just for decoration. Guest entrance from the side door, the front door is only used in case of emergency. Please turn off stove, and lock the door when going out or check- out. The gallery kitchenette just for light cooking. Guests are not allowed to use our Airbnb’s address as guest’s mailing address while stay here or after check out.
