You get the whole ground floor of the house to yourself including 2 bedrooms, den and private bathroom. Our place is a 6 min. walk to a private community dock on Lake Moultrie. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors space, the big front porch with hammock and all our recreational equipment you can borrow (bikes, kayak, stand up paddleboard). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Consider our house your house! While your space downstairs is separated by a door and stairs, you can use our kitchen, living room, washing and drying machines, or borrow recreational equipment for the nearby lake or further creeks and ocean. This listing is for the ground floor of our house, which has its own entrance and is separated by doors from the rest of the house (second and third floors). While you're here, you have that 2-bedroom + den + bathroom space to yourself and we don't go through that space. This listing (Artist's Room) includes use of the next door room which has a bunk bed (twin and full size), and workspace complete with ergonomic chair, desk and monitor. Or just set your suitcases in there or dry your clothes on a rack in there. The rooms are yours to use as you wish! Outside of the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor also includes a pool table, weight room, bathroom and a kitchen area with water dispenser, coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Lots of parking in our large driveway. We live in one of the nicer communities on the peninsula of Pinopolis, and guests have free use of our neighborhood dock that's a 6 min. walk from the house. We live in a quiet, safe neighborhood located at the end of a peninsula jutting into Lake Moultrie. Big pines, magnolia trees and Spanish moss abound. Car is the best way to get around this area, though if you’re going to downtown Charleston or Mt. Pleasant near the coast, bicycles also make for a nice transportation option (once you get down to that area - about 30 miles from our house). You can find Uber/Lyft around the airport, downtown Charleston and Mt. Pleasant, but not as easy to find in the town that we're living in... We do have 3 dogs, though they don't get to run through all of the house and mostly stay on the second floor and in the fenced-in backyard, and are locked in at nights. However when you arrive, they will likely greet you with friendly, loud barks!
