Private Room in the Historic Heart of Silver Lake

A cabin in the woods in the middle of the urban jungle! Mere steps away from Sunset Boulevard and chic Silver Lake! This charming historic 1907 Craftsman bungalow is your idyllic retreat, a garden oasis in the big city. Private room with queen bed, side and back-sleeper pillows, closet with chest of drawers, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Private entrance, private patio area. Updated en-suite bathroom with sky-lit shower and European-style bidet. The space The neighborhood is hilly. There are stairs to the front door, but none to the back. Built in 1907 it is less handicapped-friendly than we would like. En-suite mini-fridge and Keurig coffee maker, ironing board and iron, restored chest of cedar-lined drawers. Guest access Guests have a private entrance, bedroom, closet, bathroom, outdoor seating area. All of the outdoor patio, terrace and pergola are communal areas. During your stay We look forward to sharing our home with you. One or both of us are here at the house most times. You might hear us but we do our best to minimize any noise. We respect our guests' privacy and look to you for your interaction comfort level. One of us is a teacher, the other a non-profit fundraiser. Other things to note We have always offered an impeccably clean environment and will continue to sanitize, sterilize, and scrub both rooms and exterior spaces between visits. Disinfectant spray and paper towels are available. We are both doubly vaccinated. Parking is limited in the neighborhood, but we provide one space in our driveway, which is narrow (small and medium sized cars are best!). Noise curfew: 11 pm No pets. Visitors OK. No parties.
