The space The Topanga Tree House is located in Upper Fernwood right off Tuna Canyon within walking distance of hiking trails to the State Park and a half mile drive to the Tuna Canyon Mesa Trail with 360 degree views of the LA Basin and ocean. We are a five minute drive to the village of Topanga and a ten minute drive to the beaches of Malibu. Fifteen minutes away from the Getty Villa. Guest access Private guest entrance. Four romantic bedrooms, two Family rooms with WIFI, HBO, Showtime, Netflix, and all the cable channels. We can accommodate an infant now that we’ve added a crib. We have a Pilates bar and an elliptical machine. Two bathrooms, one with a rock shower and one where you can soak in a claw foot tub. There are three separate decks hanging off the Canyon Wall above Topanga or if you choose you can float away in our hammock, a quiet space under a two hundred year old oak tree. We are just minutes away from amazing hiking trails in the Santa Monica Mountain. Ten minutes to the world famous point break at Topanga Beach and The Getty Villa. Fifteen minutes to the heart of Malibu, the Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Santa Monica or the Topanga Mall. Half an hour gets you to Hollywood and downtown LA. Amazing privacy. All bedrooms have beautiful romantic beds and gorgeous views. Wood floors and a fireplace. Other things to note Children invited: We have a loft for children, board games and plenty of books and toys. We have a rope swing and lots of fun things to explore. We have a piano and guitars and we welcome musicians. This house has a history of Music. Among our guests have been George Harrison, who planted our four quince trees himself, Josh Clayton Felt, who named our house the Topanga Tree House on his album ‘Inarticulate Nature Boy’ and the House has been featured in many music videos including Ben’s Brother, Jamie Hartman’s Happy New Year and many others. The Tree House has been featured in both music videos and films alike.
