Welcome to the picturesque lakefront cabin of Haliburton Highlands. Escape the hustle & bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the serenity and beauty of nature while enjoying our newly renovated and fully furnished woodland home. This cozy year-round cabin makes a perfect getaway, from fun in the winter wonderland to enjoying the waterfront during spring and summer. The cabin is surrounded by mature trees which offer a lot of privacy & adventures of living in forested area. The space This three bedroom cabin boasts a cozy and inviting interior, featuring modern decor and comfortable furnishing. A set of stone stairs leads from the parking area towards the main entrance to the cabin. As you enter the cabin, you will find an open living area, a full kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator), and a dining area. This space is equipped with a large 70" TV, a comfortable sitting area, a wood-burning stove, a four-seater dining table, and large windows overlooking the lake. The cabin features three bedrooms and a gorgeous bathroom with a luxurious shower on the backside of the living & kitchen area with windows (skylight in bunk bedroom) in each room. The large entertainment deck with an 8-seater dining table and a gas/charcoal BBQ is accessible through the sliding door of the living area. An outdoor wood pellet-burning stove is available to be placed on the deck during the snow season. Step from the deck into the front yard with a solo stove firepit (smokeless) to help you kick back and relax. The front yard gently slopes toward the lake with a large dock on one side and a sandy beach on the other side. The property also features a four-person Marquie Hot Tub with 22 jets, two pump speeds, changing LED lights, and a waterfall. A changing booth is located right next to the Hot Tub for guests to use. Nature lovers will rejoice in the abundance of outdoor adventures awaiting them in Haliburton Highlands. With its lush forests, rolling hills, and pristine lakes, the neighborhood is a haven for hikers, cyclists, snowmobilers, and water enthusiasts. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin. This property is equipped with keyless entry. Your key code will be available to you with check-in instructions. A black shed (located at the front of the cabin towards the lake) has plenty of supplies for guests to use including life jackets, outdoor chairs, and a solo stove. The property also has a storage shed (located on the driveway) that is not for guests’ access. Other things to note The cabin is located at the edge of Esson Lake - about 3 to 6 ft deep around the dock, depending on the seasonal water levels. The larger and deeper part of the lake (about 20 to 60 ft deep) is accessible via boat through the culvert, which means you can drive the kayaks, pedal boat, or canoes right from the cottage dock. The culvert to the larger Esson Lake is about 300m from the cottage dock. Based on the weather conditions, the waterfront (dock and the boats) may not be accessible starting October with a significant drop in water levels of Esson Lake in preparation for the snow arrival. Septic system: The cabin utilizes a septic system. Well Water: The cabin water is from a drilled well with high mineral content. Accessibility: The property is not wheelchair accessible. Parking and driving in the winter: Please note that the property’s driveway is sloped. It may get icey over in cold weather. Please use caution when entering or exiting the property. Winter tires are required to drive in this area during the snow season. 4x4 Wheelers are preferred. It is also recommended to park your car on top of the driveway during winter weather conditions.
