The Container House at Rose of the Rodeo

Join us in rural Bastrop County, a.k.a. the Lost Pines, not far away from attractions while enjoying the peaceful quiet that is the Rose of the Rodeo, our 12-acre sustainable homestead. It's a getaway if you want to get away and also a great spot for moseying into Smithville, Bastrop, or Austin (esp. if coming from Houston). We're also right off Park Road 1C that connects Bastrop and Buescher State Parks (biking, birding). Accommodations are a shipping container repurposed for your comfort. The space In the Container House you are at peace. Come to relax, play, or work - or all three. A few things to note: - Our house is close by, about 25 feet away from the container, but you have separate drive, parking, and entrance so you can have complete privacy but not completely isolated. - Bathroom is a couple of feet away from the door of the container. - We have 4 goats, 2 donkeys, and a dog ready to meet you if you need emotional support but didn't know it. Guest access You got a container and a half, plus the great outdoors surrounding it.
