CC's Cabin Location: CC's Cabin is a charming rustic mountain property that sits surrounded by peaceful forested mountain views. This cabin has a super convenient location less than 10 minutes from downtown Bryson City. You can enjoy the local shops, restaurants, and breweries of this charming mountain town, or stop by and check out the historic train depot for the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, all located in Bryson City. The Deep Creek entrance into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is also located just outside of Bryson City, packed with great hiking trails, 3 beautiful waterfalls, and during the spring and summer months, excellent tubing! The Harrahs Casino, Oconaluftee River hiking trails & tubing, the popular Mingo & Soco waterfalls, and the Sequoyah National Golf Course are all located about 15 minutes away in Cherokee, NC. You can reach the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake for some great swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing options in about 20-25 minutes, Or you can experience the exhilaration of white-water rafting, zip lining, and other adventurous excursions out in the Nantahala Gorge located 30 minutes away. Access road: Cars and Most All vehicles- Paved and hard packed gravel sections on a well maintained mountain road, Switchbacks and moderate to steep incline sections possible, no washed out section. ---- Pet Policy: This cabin is PET FRIENDLY. If you are bringing a pet along for your visit, there is an ADDITIONAL $55 pet fee (per pet, 2 max.) that must be added to your reservation after it is confirmed. We can add your pet fee to your reservation through a 'special request' on Airbnb once your reservation is confirmed, or you are welcome to pay the pet fee over the phone by calling our office anytime. There are maximum pet restrictions set by the individual cabin owners, so be sure to inquire what the restrictions may be for your cabin if you are planning to bring more than one pet with you. Please read our House Rules for more information and specifics about our Pet Policies. ---- Wi-Fi Internet service is not guaranteed. This cabin is located in a remote area where securing reliable internet connectivity poses quite a challenge, which is why we unfortunately are not able to offer technical support should an issue arise. Additionally, as the Wi-Fi service is provided free of charge, we cannot offer refunds of any kind for service interruptions. If needed, we are always available to assist you in finding other options that provide free Wi-Fi internet to patrons. Special note about the property : The wood burning stove in the living room is not for use.
