The location is in central and serene neighborhood. We are a 10 minute drive from the JFK Airport, and a 10 minute walk from the park, library, gourmet and fast food restaurants, ice-cream shop, laundromat, mall, and the Gold USMLE Review Center for medical students. Address will be provided once you're confirmed. There's a private entrance with surveillance cameras. Access to the backyard, complimentary tea, and coffee. Early/Late check-in/check-out is not guaranteed, and there is a fee. This is a spacious room in a finished basement. There are a few steps leading down to the private entrance where you can let yourself in. It is a nice secluded space, with a private bedroom and a common space to sit and do work or eat. For persons above 6' 5" you might find some sections close in height, but is perfectly fine for everyone else. Smoking is not allowed in or around the house. The bathroom, kitchenette and backyard are welcome spaces beyond your private room to which you'll have access. We are pretty responsive, and unless you need advice on soccer or global politics, interaction is minimal. Order in, or walk to the nearby Thai restaurant, Burger King, Red Lobster, Olive Gardens or Carvel Ice-Cream spots. And for more entertainment or business, Manhattan is a quick 30 minutes away on the Long Island railroad. There's a park, lots of restaurants (many also deliver), supermarkets, pharmacies and the Green Acres Mall, all within a 10-minute walk in just about any direction. The Long Island Railroad train takes 30 minutes to get to Penn Station from the nearest train station which is just under a 10- minute walk. In addition to Uber and Lyft, taxis are typically at the train station. Buses that go into nearby Queens or further into Long island are a 5-minute walk away. This is an old house with wood flooring and heating which makes noise intermittently.
