In the best sunny location, right by beautiful Skulesjön, is this simple cottage – perfect for those who want to explore the High Coast during the day and enjoy the tranquility in the evening with a wood-fired hot tub and sauna! Five beds: one double bed, one bunk bed and one sofa bed. The kitchen is simply equipped with a stove, microwave, kettle, refrigerator and running cold water. Toilet (separate) and shower with hot water are in a separate building. Please note that guests need to bring their own bed linen and towels. The space Parking is available directly adjacent to the cottage. The plot slopes steeply towards the water, and to reach the cabin you go on foot down a relatively steep slope – not difficult to walk, but can be good to know. The accommodation has simpler standards and is of older, but fully functional condition. The pictures give a representative picture, but some wear and tear such as marks in the floor are not clearly visible in the photographs. Since the cottage is older, there may be a certain odor from older wood and building materials. This is normal for the age of the cottage and is not due to moisture or mold damage. The sauna and hot tub are wood-fired and require guests to be able to start and maintain a fire themselves. Firewood is provided, but may need to be split on site if necessary. The water comes from its own well. We drink the water ourselves and think it tastes very good, but if you are sensitive or unsure we recommend bringing your own drinking water. The neighboring property (see picture taken from the lake side) is also rented out periodically through Airbnb. Between the houses, there is partly grown vegetation, which means that the property is still perceived as secluded and private. The E4 is about 1km from the cabin. Depending on the wind, engine noise from heavy traffic can be heard, but in normal conditions this is rarely perceived as disturbing. Here, you live close to everything the region has to offer. Just 5 km away you will find Skuleskogen National Park, one of Sweden's most spectacular nature reserves, with well-marked hiking trails, magical forests and magnificent views. A short drive of about 15 km takes you to Skuleberget, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view from the top, climb up yourself or take the cable car. Köpmanholmen is only 10 km away, and from here there are ferries to Ulvön and Trysunda – two charming islands that are perfect for a day trip. Ulvön is known for its picturesque fishing ports and traditional smokehouses, while Trysunda offers quiet beaches and wonderful hiking opportunities.
