Located in the central part of Split old town, 300m from the seaside promenade of the Split known as Riva, 100m from restaurants bars and shops, 400m from Diocletian Palace, UNESCO heritage site. It takes all the second floor (loft) of 150 years old charming traditional Croatian house, fully reconstructed to keep unique features of this historical property. As it is a loft, please note there are 10 rather narrow steep steps inside main door up to the apartment (see stairs picture). That's why the studio is ideal for younger couples and friends. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the apartment for you. Because of these stairs, the studio is not recommend for elderly people nor children. Please consider this when booking. House is situated 50m from the famous national park-forest Marjan, surrounded by traditional old stone houses in the very heart of the oldest residential area of the town, also known as Veli Varoš. The whole area of Veli Varoš is mostly a pedestrian zone. The closest you can come by car is some 30 meters from the apartment and then walk down few low steps to reach the apartment. It is a free street parking around but sometimes it can be difficult to find a parking in the peak season. Veli Varoš is protected heritage area of Split. In the vicinity (30 meters up) there is an excellent outdoor restaurant- café Vidilica, with the most famous viewing point of entire town of Split, its harbour and surrounding islands. The views of the city are stunning! Studio is spacious and full of light, completed with a big bathroom and specious shower. All windows are equipped with blackout system (shutters). There is a queen size double bed, fully equipped kitchen, dining table with chairs, sitting area, wardrobe... Studio has powerful Daikin air conditioning equipped with a heating mode. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer, small iron/iron board, all kitchen utensils, coffee-maker, refrigerator and microwave at the property. We provide towels and bed lining. Excellent location in the central old town, considered as one of the best residential areas of Split town. Guest access Entire space (loft) is included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home. Other things to note Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.
