The dairy tour is located 5 miles off site at our dairy. My great aunt originally bought this homestead from the Church family who built this house in 1852, and the road is accordingly named after the Church family. Church Lane. With a newly remodeled kitchen and a remodel meant to keep everything as original as possible the house has all the amenities of a 5 star hotel but is as quaint, cozy and as comfortable as can be. The bottom floor has 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, a cozy living room , a queen bedroom and a room off the queen bedroom with a daybed. The upstairs has a king bedroom, one with 2 double beds, a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a full bathroom with a new clawfoot soaking tub/shower! If you’re looking to stay with just 2 people, you can choose any room! Guest access There is 120 acres to roam past our wedding barn. Lots of wildlife to find and Sitka the horse will greet you at the ponds. Plus our dairy tour is 5 miles away at our organic dairy. Plenty of parking. We are excited to be the 2nd dairy in Ferndale to install robotic milking arms along with a state of the art methane reducer AAmp project we were awarded and built. If your looking to book just one bedroom we have a second listing Farmstay at the Bluff for Two that is completely private, we just shut the upstairs off and the whole downstairs is yours to enjoy! Other things to note We started this Farmstay because we are passionate about our organic land, passionate about caring for our Organic Jersey herd, passionate about sharing our story, and our little piece of heaven here on the West coast. While here you will tour our organic dairy, learn about regenerative farming, and lastly experience what waking up on beautiful organic farm feels like. You are welcomed with candles lit from our store ,The Farmer's Daughter 358 Main Street Ferndale, then enjoy a variety or organic cheeses our cows produce for Rumiano Cheese and taste cream from my daughter's family farm, Alexandre.
