Situated on a lovely block in with long term residents this newly renovated home feels like a craftsman and a hacienda had a lovechild. The space Light filled living room, and connected dining area with an extendable table is simple and perfect for relaxing. One bedroom with a king bed faces the street, and the garden facing rear bedroom has a queen (my daughter added the net for effect, not because we have mosquitoes!). Fully Equipped Kitchen, Laundry, and breakfast nook. It also has a deck with patio furniture perfect for smoking or relaxing sipping Tea. Friendly Neighbors. Home is equipped with central heating and WIFI, and all the home necessities for comfort you during your stay. This home is in East Oakland, and we are fiercely proud of our block and community with its mix of middle class and blue collar families. This stay is ideal for folks who are familiar with urban areas, and don’t need absolute peace and serenity, though that is true much of the time. We have many churches within a few blocks and you will hear church services and music many evenings of the week. Our neighbors have geese and ducks and you will hear them quacking and honking sometimes, especially during breakfast and bedtime. The home has a long driveway secured by a gate that can accommodate 2 vehicles on the premises. Guest access The whole house is available for use.
