The space Welcome to our 17th-century stone house, ideally located in the heart of the historic center of Montignac-Lascaux, at the foot of the castle. Our apartment blends old world charm with modern comfort. From the windows, you will enjoy a pleasant view of the surrounding hills, the church and the village square. This is the perfect base from which to discover the treasures of the Dordogne and the Périgord Noir. An exceptional location Everything is within walking distance: * artisanal bakeries, * restaurants and terraces, * ice cream parlour, * shops of local producers, * pharmacy, * movie theater, * ecological swimming pool, * banks, * shops and services, * Canoeing and kayaking * and even the Lascaux Cave for lovers of walking. The traditional market brings the village to life every Wednesday and Saturday. In July and August, on Monday evenings you can enjoy the local farmers' markets, with tastings, on-site dining and local entertainment. You will also find several supermarkets nearby as well as many shops offering the specialties of the region. Lovers of nature and heritage will appreciate the many opportunities for walks or bike rides through the historic streets of the village, the surrounding forests, and the viewpoints offering magnificent panoramas in any season. The Space It is completely independent and can accommodate up to 4 guests. We live next door and look forward to welcoming you personally. We remain available before and during your stay to ensure that everything goes smoothly. Access to the accommodation is via a staircase. You will have access to: ✔ A fully equipped kitchen: fridge, oven, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster. ✔ A comfortable living room with high-definition TV, Netflix access and reversible air conditioning. ✔ A modern bathroom with walk-in shower, heated towel rail and hairdryer. ✔ Two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed (160 × 200 cm). ✔ Storage space at the entrance. ✔ A Dyson stick vacuum cleaner. For your comfort Bed linen and towels are provided. The beds will be made before your arrival so you can enjoy your stay immediately. Unfortunately, our accommodation is not suitable for children under three years of age. Parking You can stop in front of the house to unload your luggage. Free parking is available on the street as well as in the parking lots along the Vézère. Note: Access to the house includes a slight climb. Important Information 🚭 No smoking in the entire apartment. 🐾 No pets are allowed. 🎉 In order to maintain the tranquility of the place and the neighborhood, parties, events and gatherings are not permitted. Please leave the accommodation in a clean condition when you leave and empty the garbage cans. Additional fees may apply if you fail to comply with this instruction. As we pay close attention to cleanliness, we charge a deep-cleaning fee. Your beds are also made, and towels are provided. Guest access I'll share check-in and greeting information the day before you check in. But I'm available if needed. There is a climb to the accommodation and a staircase to access it.
