Welcome to our riverside house! This centrally located house is only mins away from the quaint old town of Ste.Rose and 20 mins to Montreal! Whether you prefer to unwind yourself by the river, watching ducks and geese pass-by, looking at the beautiful and colourful sunset, paddling or riding a bike along the calm river or go crazy on shopping, this place can offer you both! Many golf courses, trails, ski resorts, spa, museums, pubs, bars, restaurants, shopping malls nearby. A True hidden gem! The space This 5 bedroom house offers you amazing views any time of the day, any day of the year! The peaceful Rivière-des-Mille-Îles awaits you for kayaking, paddle-boarding, canoeing, fishing, boating, rock skipping and wild life watching! In winter, guests may go ice fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, and even walking on the frozen river in the backyard! The house is very spacious. There are originally 6 rooms but we would like to keep one as our workshop. The rest of 5 rooms are open for our guests, however, one room on the ground floor is set up as an office or quiet room, therefore, only 4 bedrooms on the upper floor. Rooms are bright and there is an unfenced walk-out to the roof where you can take a nap on the lounger overseeing the awesome views! The backyard has a huge deck with a hot tub (surcharge), dining area, a huge fire-pit, and a swing. There is also a small dock and a canoe (rental fees apply). We also have a couple of bikes for rent. Asian cooking class , kids craft class and homemade meals can be arranged for a fee! This is a very quiet, safe and peaceful neighbourhood despite some far from annoying train sounds ( no trains after midnight till morning), we ask our guests to respect our neighbours and not make loud noises at all times, therefore, strictly no partying!!! Guest access You will have access to the house and deck, fire pit, swing, BBQ, dock and river. (Water level will be higher in colder months and the dock will disappear) Asian cooking class / kids craft class and homemade meals can be arranged for a fee. On-site Bikes, hot tub and canoe rentals are available FREE TESLA charging!!! Other things to note There will be train noise. Since we are not close to the station, trains only pass by without loud horns. Noise is not that loud when you are inside the unit with windows and doors closed and there will be no trains from midnight to morning. However, for those who are sensitive, ear plugs will be advised.
