Our Historic home is close to Space and Rocket Center in nearby Huntsville, Alabama, the Jack Daniels Distillery just a 40 minute drive to Lynchburg, Scott's Apple Orchard, Lyon Family Farms and the Amish community . You’ll love staying at the Poor Farm because of it's rich history and the rolling hills and hollers. We have a coziness like no other and comfy beds. The Poor Farm is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Woman of the house is intermediate level in ASL. The space The Poorfarm is a historic property and the owners will be happy to share with you the information they have and give you a tour. Guest access Guests will have access not only to their room but to common living areas, homestead portion of the 9 acres which includes approximately 6 acres of open land. During your stay We enjoy meeting new people and would like to get to know you. However, if you desire privacy then we defiantly respect that.
