Description

Relax in nature in this immaculate home with a large porch overlooking the beautiful White River. (Riverhouse #2) The space Riverhouse #2 is a 4-bedroom immaculate modular home that has been updated and is oversized for large groups. It located only 1/8 mile from the main resort property and is a private home with its backyard on the White River. The split floor plan includes a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen that is comfortable fit for 12-15 people and it has a large screened porch with stairs leading to the back yard with firepit and a river overlook secondary deck. The master bedroom has a king bed and a twin bed (the king can be split into two twins as well) as well as an en suite bathroom with stand up shower and a separate garden tub. Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed, bedroom 3 has a full sized extra long bed and bedroom 4 has two twins (these beds can be bridged to make one king). Each bedroom has a walk-in closet. Additionally, there is a large den at the end of the house that has two couches and two additional full sized beds. The hall bath has a stand up tub/shower. The kitchen is fully outfitted and has full sized appliances including dishwasher. Guest access Your back screened back porch is perfect for watching the river, birds, squirrels and many other woodland creatures. Please also enjoy the shared deck in the yard behind the brown brick home next door. It is situated over the river which is a great place to enjoy morning coffee or the late evening breeze off the river. However, we ask that you not attempt to use the attached stairway that leads down to the water until we have lower water conditions which will allow us to do necessary repairs on the hinge holding the floating ramp attached at the bottom of the stairway. Also, this is not a place to tie off a boat as it would get beached if the water drops and when the water is high, wake from other boats could case damage to the boat, deck, or stairway since it is not a true dock. This stairway/ramp is intended for dry bar access when the water is at minimum flow and we will have it usable as soon as possible. Caution and a watchful eye with young children in this area as well as all river bank locations on our property is always requested. In addition to the front and back yards of Riverhouse #2, we want you to enjoy the full resort property including the lower lawn area down from our office/bait shop. This space boasts two shared fire-pit areas, two hammocks, ample bank fishing spots nestled between the dock and the ramp where AGFC stocks trout 1-2 times per week. Additionally, near the office there is a children's wooden playground set. Feel free to take the short 1/8 mile drive down to access these areas or even walk down as it is a beautiful walk. Because the resort is at the end of the lane and not on the highway, there is little through traffic which allows you to enjoy nature and quiet serenity. Our guests often remark that even during busy periods, they do not feel crowded by other visitors as there is so much green space and room to spread out. Other things to note Your driveway has ample parking for 2-4 cars. If you need overflow parking, we can usually accommodate this nearby at the campground, or at the office. If you have brought a boat and trailer to please talk to the office for the best place to park these as they are longer and can obstruct resort traffic flow. We do have a safe place for your boat trailer if you need to detach it or park your truck and trailer overnight. Additionally, while we do have a ramp, it is not insured for customer boat launching. However, Wild Cat Shoals Public Access is only one mile up the road. You may tie your private boat off at our main dock just down the hill from our office during the day for breaks, but please talk to our office about overnight tie off possibility and associated fees.
