Other things to note The cabin is situated close to nature and directly on the lake, you can expect to encounter some insects and mosquitoes during your stay. While they are a normal part of the environment, we want to help you minimize their impact. Tips: Bug Repellant: We recommend applying a good insect repellent with DEET or a natural alternative to keep mosquitoes at bay. Keep Doors and Windows Closed: Ensure that doors and windows are kept closed or use the screens provided to prevent bugs from entering the cottage. Keep Lights Down: Mosquitos/Insects are attracted to bright lights. At night time, turn off and keep any in/outdoor lights to a minimum. Keep Food Covered: Avoid attracting bugs by keeping food covered and promptly cleaning up crumbs or spills.
